White martingales after Labor Day? Acceptable yes, or fashion faux pas?

Well Zoey this is a very good question! It depends on the type of pup you are. Some pups are elegant enough to pull off white no matter what time of the year it is. There are several reasons to where white. It will usually pop nicely against any color coat. The best reason to wear white is to make your Mommy scream with delight. Whenever I wear white I start mentally scouting out where the mud muddles are. Never try to roll in them on the leash unless the humans are very distracted. You don't want them to stop you and catch on to your plan until you are able to complete it.
Once you find your mud puddle you wait until the perfect moment. As soon as your free you should make a beeline and give yourself a mud bath. These aren't like the icky regular baths that we all hate. It actually conditions your fur and makes you smell better too! In order to make your humans extra happy you should scrub that white martingale as much as you can during that mud bath.
There are a few different techhniques to this. If you do both sides the humans will see rightawayquick and be delighted. You can tell from the sreeks of amazement. The way I perfer to have a mud bath is to only do one side. Less of the martingale gets scrubbed but the humnas don't always notice rightawayquick and they are extra suprised once your back inside. My Mommy loves this even more since her amazement at my awesomness is even louder inside! I love making my Mommy happy!
