Okra Hair Gel!

So I jumped into the natural hair movement a few months ago and it's going well. Been toying with the idea of selling some home made hair products online to help earn some extra money. Today I made a bunch of different gel recipes and will be testing them on myself over the next couple weeks.

First I boiled 9 1/2 Okra pieces, with a sliced Lemon, and 1TBS of Marshmellow Root. After straining each test batch had a cup of this in it.

Test #1
1 cup of the above mixture
1 TBS Honeyquat
1/4 tsp Potassium Sorbate
1/2 TBS Citric Acid
1/2 tsp Guar Gum

Test #2
1 cup of the above mixture
1/4 tsp Potassium Sorbate
1 TBS Honey
2 TBS Cornstarch
1 TBS Epsom Salt
2 TBS Aloe

Test #3
1 cup of the above mixture
1 TBS jello
1/4 tsp Potassium Sorbate
1/8 tsp of fragrance

Test #4
1 cup of the above mixture
1 cup of flat beer
1/4 tsp Potassium Sorbate
1/2 tsp fragrance
1 packet of jello

Test #5
1 cup of the above mixture
Packet of Jello
1/4 tsp Potassium Sorbate

1 packet of jello
1/4 tsp Potassium Sorbate
1/8 tsp fragrance

Test # 11
1 cup of the above mixture
1 1/2 packets of jello
1/4 tsp Potassium Sorbate
1 TBS Lavender Epsom Salt

So far only test # 2 didn't mix together well... The rest should be interesting to try!
