Crate trained? Galileo does not like the crate. It's possible he may have been crated for much of his life as his teeth are worn.
Cat safe? Absolutely!
Dog friendly? Absolutely!
Kid friendly? Unknown, but likely good with kids.
Fence jumper? Not a Fence Jumper, but an Expen Climber!
Happy as an only dog? Happy as an only dog or one of six (like he is here!)
Any meds? (other than HW & Frontline) 1/4 Zyrtec once a day, currently on antibiotics for a skin infection, but that's only 8 more days.
Any other quirks? Gally loves to do yoga and has an adorable stretching routine he performs every morning. He crawls on the floor with his front legs outstretched and his front half down, and his butt up!
Level of sight? Has diminished vision in right eye, no sight in left eye.
Favorite treat? Cheese!
Favorite pup food? Anything cheese flavored!
Favorite human food? Cheese! Cheese!
Do you like to chew? Yes!
Favorite chewy? Loves squeaky toys and will squeak all day long!
Do you like pedicures? No. Ick.
How do you feel about the couch? Couch is for dogs!
Do you prefer snuggling or your own giant bed? Snuggling! Gally loves to cuddle and will fall asleep happily in any nearby lap.
Favorite naughty thing to do? Steal the other dogs' toys.
How fast do you zoomie? OK, I'm lost here!
What’s your opinion on squirrels? Ignores them!
Opinion on birds? Do they really taste like chicken? Everything tasts like cheese!
Are you a guard dog at the front door? Or a sleeping laid back pup? Gally loves to greet me at the door and does a very happy dance, whirling and twirling. Doesn't mind strangers.
Do you like long walks? No.... Gally is actually somewhat timid and doesn't seem to be used to grass. He hesitates on walks and prefers to stay close by home for now.
How important is your sleep? Sleeps completely through the night and naps throughout the day!
Who is your favorite puppy friend? Any squeaky toy! And cheese!
Do you like to travel? Loves car rides!
Where did you travel from? Gally traved from Georgia to his foster home in NY!
Any interesting travel stories? Everybody loved him! :)
What do you think of strangers? There are no strangers - only friends!
Favorite toys? Squeaky toys!
What’s your favorite game to play? Stealing other squeaky toys and not giving them back (and not giving them to me, either, which we are working on!). Gally also loves to go upstairs and barks to be carried down, and then runs right back up, and barks to be carried down (do you see the game here?) :)
Opinion on belly rubs? The best! Even rolls over for belly rubs at the vet!
Do you marinate your brains to make them smarter? (sleeping upside down with head off bed or furniture) Ick! No! OK, well maybe once or twice!
Gally is very communicative and will bark if he needs or wants something, like if he jumped on the couch but can't jump down. He also barks to go out much of the time.
