The girls will stop chewing if they get bored... Maybe you have to keep changing the yummy things to keep his interest? Right now they are a bit tired of bully sticks and pressed rawhides. Lamb ears are a go though. If you think his teeth are sensitive I would be worried about him needing a dental. I think I remember reading that the chewing action helps increase blood flow to the gums? which helps in healthier gums?
His breath is also particuarly atrocious, when I'm sure would go hand in hand with bad teeth... I have a feeling that a dental is coming and my pocketbook isn't going to like it one bit!! Luckily, I have a Phil fund instead of insurance! :)
Phil won't chew on stuff (which is probably a blessing), but no rawhides.. I wonder if maybe he teeth are just too bad/sensitive.

ReplyDeleteYou need to get him chewing! Much cheaper than a $700-$1000 dental ;) Or maybe try the the Pezlife stuff?
