Penny is our superstar this week. She so adorable! Living in Florida and loving life right now. She can travel to anywhere for that special forever home... Just look at that face! Those paws!

Altered? yes
Age? about 7-9 months
Potty trained? mostly
Crate trained?  YES!



Cat safe?  Yes
Dog friendly?  Yes, but a bit rambunctious.
Kid friendly? yes, but still jumps
Fence jumper?  Don't know. She is only leash walked
Happy as an only dog?  Don't know. When she arrived she was in a house full
Any meds? (other than HW & Frontline) none
Any other quirks?  She loves her crate!
Level of sight? almost total vision. Minor scarring remains from right eye puncture causing a thin film

Favorite treat?  treat?  Did you say treat?  I want one!!!
Favorite pup food?  Just switched to Blue Buffalo Salmon adult dry food
Favorite human food?  Peanut butter and cheese
Do you like to chew?  yes, but I like squeaky toys bestest
Favorite chewy?  Peanut butter kong
Do you like pedicures?  Never had one
How do you feel about the couch?  It is YUMMY!  I like to lay on it with someone



Do you prefer snuggling or your own giant bed?  I sleep in my crate - I still get into too many problems to be alone and out at night
Favorite naughty thing to do?  Pull the stuffing out of the couch (It's really old and was already tearing when I got here.)
How fast do you zoomie?  FAST!  I could win a NASCAR race without a problem!



What’s your opinion on squirrels?  I look at them
Opinion on birds? Do they really taste like chicken?  not at all interested in birds
Are you a guard dog at the front door? Or a sleeping laid back pup?  pretty laid back unless I get the urge to run! I love to run across the house and bounce off the back of the couch and keep running....
Do you like long walks?  Yes, But right now it is HOT in Florida and I am kind of an AC girl



How important is your sleep?  I love to sleep in my crate and if someone tries to get me up to go out, I have to weigh the benefit
Who is your favorite puppy friend?  Robin is a shih Tzu mix who is just a little older than I am. We love to chase and go for long walks in the state park with Mom and Todd (her son)
Do you like to travel?  Yes, I like it, but I get car sick rather easily
Where did you travel from? From Alabama - I was in a shelter with my twin - Now I live in Florida
Any interesting travel stories?  Not really
What do you think of strangers?  I am shy at first and like to stand back and size up if they are nice. Once my person talks to them, I am excited to have new friends.



Favorite toys?  Toys?!!  Anything is good if you can throw it for me or it squeeks!!  I really like a rubber pig that snorts.... I snort it a LOT when I am alone in the dark of my crate. It keeps me company
What’s your favorite game to play?  Running, Chasing Robin, Chase the toy (they keep wanting me to give it back, but I figure if I have to go get it, it should be MINE!)
Opinion on belly rubs?  LOVE them almost as much as bouncing
Do you marinate your brains to make them smarter? (sleeping upside down with head off bed or furniture)  I lie on my back but I like my head near my body, thanks...
