Yet Another Rainy Update

We went back to the vet again today to fess up to the Soloxine dosage. The Dr wasn't thrilled that we did it but was happy that Rainy is back to normal.

Rainy got to meet another greyhound named Thor. An adorable cow pup who was adopted from NGAP. He was at the vet for seizures. He had one on the car ride over... We sure hope he feels better soon and that they get his meds figured out quickly.

She also got to meet a rottweiler puppy! It was a very busy day there.

After her blood pull Sunshine nosed at her clot and Rainy proceeded to bleed all over the place. Earned herself a snazzy zebra print band aid.




Then the best part happened! The dr said that Rainy is to skinny and needs to gain a whole 4-5lbs! Every girls dream! The thyroid meds and the increased activity had melted the lbs off. Rainy enjoyed a double helping of supper and an extra chewy bone today.

Meanwhile tonight we are all enjoying a roaring fire!

Feets

The girls both have cracked paw pads. So they had foot rubs with baby oil and are waiting while they dry. They keep looking at me to see where that cookie for their nail trim is... I need to go buy some bag balm for them!

Socializing

We met our friends in the park and went for a nice long walk. Look at these pretty leaves.

Then we went back to our friends house and ate piggy ears! Num!
