Brave is hard

Being brave is awful hard sometimes. I try so hard but sometimes the scaries just get the best of me. We were at the campground in the safe trailer when this huge bang of thunder hit! It shook everything! I ran back to the bedroom as fast as I could. Which is really fast! Thanks greyhound but muscles.

Then I remembered I'm not supposed to run away from scary stuff, so I tippy toed back out into the front of the trailer to my Mommy.

Mommy hugged me tight. I was too scared to jump on the sofa so she lifted me up and put me behind her . Ahhh... Nice and safe. I like when Mommy hugs me tight. Makes me feel secure. As soon as I stopped shaking I wandered back for a much needed nap. Being brave is hard work!
